Possible values for a programme’s genre.

UNKNOWN = None

Genre didn’t match any known value.

EDUCATION = b'\x02\x00\x00\x00\x00\x01\x90'
FILM = b'\x02\x00\x00\x00\x00\x01\x10'

Also used for most fictional series.

Unique identifier.

genre

Genre of the programme.

title

Localised programme title.

subtitle

Usually a description. Often the same as summary.

start

time.struct_time the broadcast starts.

stop

time.struct_time the broadcast ends.

channel

Identifier corresponding to the channel hosting the broadcast.

summary

Broadcast description.

widescreen

Whether the broadcast is in widescreen.

subtitled

Whether the broadcast has subtitles.

audio_desc

Whether the broadcast includes an audio description.

signed

Whether the broadcast includes sign language.

pyepgdb.network.dvbtuk.parse(programmes)[source]

Validate and parse known programme fields specific to this network.
